I think I'm actually going to work on my original story for a bit. It's not the really cool one about the universe built of music (I think a few of you know about that. Yes?), because I'm a loser and can't seem to stick with an idea. No, it's this new one, actually based on these daydreams I had when I was much younger. It should be fun to revisit the characters, at least :). Oh, and for those of you who do read my fanfiction, I will do Parenthood after that (hopefully), by next weekend at the latest (again, hopefully).
I am currently waiting for my arrival of The Book Thief! I'm so excited, it's not even funny. It's been a while since I've cried at a book, and I've heard this one will have me bawling, so I can't wait :). I also ordered two other books: I Captured the Castle and Daddy Long-Legs so hopefully those will be equally amazing. If you've read any of those three, please leave comments and tell me how you liked them (no spoilers though, please).
In other news, I finally saw the premiere of Heroes! I actually quite liked it, and I think this season will be an improvement over the last two. Or at least, I'm hoping it will be too. I remain missing my M friends though (my favorite characters are Mohinder, Molly, Micah, Monica and Matt). I know Matt was in it, but I just don't think the show is the same unless I get my weekly glimpse of Mohinder :).
Um... yeah. Not too much else to report. I'm going to do a pairing blog at some point, so please leave comments if you want my thoughts about a specific pairing. 1) Actually, I don't know of your original story about a universe of music. Do tell!
2) "The Book Thief" was fabulous. It offered a whole new perspective on WWII for me. While it was a bit difficult to get into, I still enjoyed it very much. Happy reading!
3) What do you think of Nico/Rachel? The possibility of the pairing never really occurred to me before I read "Death's Dare" by Kioko (skipping the more M-rated parts, that is). Since then, however, it's kind of headcanon for me, especially in futurefics. Nico/Rachel is officially one of my favorite pairings since "Death's Dare". (Do you get the pun in the title, by the way? It took me a while, but now I love it.) So, after that long explanation/monologue, do you or would you ship Nico/Rachel?

The Book Theif is an amazing book. It is sad though and I cried at least three times before I finished it. So if you like that kind of stuff it'll be a good book for you.
